Vol. 29 No. 4 (2025): OCTOBER-DECEMBER
This issue contains several studies related to the state policy designed for environmental conservation in the province, as well as the application of procedures for evaluating the environmental expenditures of the business sector and its commitment to society and the state policy established for this purpose. It also covers the implementation of programs and strategies in our province for defining the main environmental problems in Guantánamo during the current strategic cycle, considering those with the greatest impact and those that have not achieved the projected goals at certain stages. Therefore, advisory courses are presented for managers in this area on document management related to the preservation of documentation and environmental protection, taking into account the potential link between microorganisms and the biological risks present in archives. Studies derived from national and international research projects were also presented, such as the diagnosis of the geoecological status of the Cuchillas del Toa and the study related to biodiversity conservation. These projects fostered collaboration among academic, governmental, and non-governmental institutions by identifying the most effective strategies and action plans for protecting species and their ecosystems. The findings suggest that actively disseminating these policies can inspire greater commitment and action toward conservation, both nationally and globally.
