In order to design variants for the management and feeding of Pelibuey sheep in the municipality of San Antonio del Sur, Guantánamo province, the productive efficiency of livestock systems (sheep, goats and cattle) was diagnosed and farms with areas were typified in livestock in this territory, during the period 2017 to 2018. The forms of livestock production were typified in three groups, differentiated, by grazing area, the slope of the land, size of the herd, the load, the eroded area and the environmental situation Four farms belonging to the different forms of production were worked: Agricultural Production Cooperative (CPA) May 17 and Domingo Hernández, Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) Armando Barrero and the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (UBPC) January 28. It is recommended to validate the variants of management and feeding of livestock in the territory based on the recommendations of the work.
