Abstract

The study was conducted in the period from January to June / 2014 Credit Unions and Services Strengthened Luís A. Carbo of Monte Ruz Limonar community in Salvador and "José Antonio Sánchez March! Sabana Maisí community, with the aim of characterizing the socio-productive state of indigenous biodiversity in agricultural ecosystems. Were diagnosed and identified causes that determine the presence of native species for food production. Qualitative and quantitative tools diagnoses were used. Main results show low yields in the cultivation of taro being the main production line in Maisí, the low use of organic products, high dependence on chemicals. In Monte Ruz Limonar have favorable values mainly due to its proximity to the centers of knowledge transfers which have been in service training. Resistance prevails involvement of women in decision-making.
