Abstract

With the objective of designing a capacity building strategy to increase food sovereignty and nutritional education in different local actors from the agricultural sector in Guantanamo municipality, was developed this research from September/2022 to October/2023. For this, a characterization of the region under study was made consisting of three stages, as an analysis of the context to register all the characteristics related to capacities building to increase the food production. After this, strategic actions were put into practice to contribute to technical, managerial an institutional capacities building and a Capacitation Program for the CSS Mariana Grajales of the chosen municipality was validated.
