Agricultural biodiversity in producing areas of “Luis A. Carob” CCS.

The study was carried out during the period September-November, 2017, having as location the “Luis A. Carbó” Credit and Service Cooperative from Limonar de Monte Ruz community in El Salvador, with the objective of carrying out an inventory of the different species of cultivars, as well as knowing the ways of conservation, storage and acquisition of seeds. The results showed a total of 16 species that include different varieties, being the greatest amount in the common bean and banana crops, as well as other species such as pepper, tomato, okra, cabbage, cucumber, yam, banana and cassava among others. The predominant form of conservation of seeds was in plastic knobs and the acquisition by the exchange between them.Downloads
