The objective of this research was to evaluate the agronomic and economic behavior of 6 varieties of hard yellow hybrid corn (Hercules; Trueno; Emblema; RK 3014; DAS 3383; DK 7500. The work lasted 130 days; The experiment was managed under a conventional NPK fertilization system by edaphic route 30 grams per plant: day 8 (8-20-20); day 23 (15 - 3 - 20) and day 38 (21 - 0 - 0 - 24), irrigation was given through furrows. The data were tabulated in a Random Complete Block Design (DBCA), the data were analyzed by ANOVA, to compare the individual means the Tukey method was used (p <0.05). Economically, the DAS 3383 hybrid reached a higher net profit with US $ 1,636.57 obtaining a profitability of 56.04% per hectare, concluding that this genetic material can be used for corn producers in the area, since it demands lower expenses per unit of production.
