Abstract

Aimed to achieve a more rational use of natural resources on non-suitable lands for Coffea arabica crop, the agroforestry reorganization was planned, based on “Los Lirios” farm sustainability. A general diagnosis was made at “Los Lirios” Farm. The sample size was determined and the species present were inventoried, and a management proposal was made through the diversification of production with perennial species, which protect soils, and applicable to the edaphoclimatic conditions of high economic value lands. The sampling was representative and sufficient for the study area. The study demonstrated that a few economic value species and ecologically supportive forests are not well distributed. Therefore, the management proposal and its operational plan is an alternative for the sustainability of this agroforestry system
