Abstract

The research was carried out in the pine forests of the Segundo Frente municipality, during the period from April to June 2020, with the objective of inventorying the entomofauna in Pinus cubensis G. forests of the Sierra Cristal Agroforestry Company. For this end, simple random samplings were carried out in fixed plots, collecting the insects by transects, which were identified and counted. In the inventory, five orders were identified, which group 32 families and 45 species. The order Coleoptera is the most representative followed by the Lepidoptera. The species Ips calligraphus is reported for the first time in this municipality.
