Abstract

The investigation was developed among november of 2015 until June of 2016 in Manuel Tames, Guantanamo, with the objective of evaluating the effect of the application of the biological product FitoMas-E in the species Coffea arabica L. var. Caturra Red more organic matter in nursery phase. A totally randomized experimental design was used, with six treatments, with two proportions: 3x1 and 5x1 two dose of application of FitoMas-E: 3 and 4,3 L.ha-1, where they were valuated: height of the plants (cm), diameter of the shaft (cm), long of root (cm), weigh dry (g) and area to foliate (cm2). The best combination was where the treatment IV Coffea arabica. var. Red Caturra + proportion 5x1 husk of coffee + 4 L.ha-1 FitoMás-E was applied, besides the one that better result afforded from an economic point of sight, with 2.74 pesos and a saving of 1.06.
