Abstract

The present work was carried with the objective of evaluating the behavior of the productive indicators of the rabbit fed with flour of industrial coconut during the phase final of feed. In a first stage the flour of coconut was characterized bromatologic, the contents of MS, PB, FB, Ashes, were determined, , they were determined the coefficients of apparent digestibility (CDA) of the nutrients of the diets with 0,10 and 20% of flour of coconut and finally the behavior of the productive indicators of rabbits in the final phase of their feed was evaluated with these same diets, the controlled variables were initial live weight, final live weight, half daily gain, consumption of foods and nourishing conversion. The flour of coconut showed an elevated potential in order to be utilized in the diets for rabbit, given their balance of nutrients and elevated CDA of the nutrients as well the productive behavior of the rabbits.
