Abstract

The great importance of be able to measure the transpiration in the different varieties of the same species, it is given because can be defined aspects such like: Level of productivity, efficient use of water, stability in the performance and tolerance to drought. This process can be quantified by means of different methods, but almost all only can be used in conditions of laboratory, and the porometer can be used in farm conditions, but it is very expensive. The objective of this work is to propose a new method to measure this process in farm conditions, without incurring in high expenses.  To develop this method is necessary: Filter paper, scissor, paper acetate, digital scales, flasks with lids and clips.
