Potasic Potential in a Chromic Vertisol.

Abstract

The work was carried out with the obtained information of 25 profiles of a Vertisol Chromic of the Geographical Experimental Net of INICA, of Holguín. They took data of the analytic determinations of the potential potasic and their derived, interchangeable potassium, non interchangeable potassium, and the nitric potassium, M.O., pH(H2O), pH(KCl) and Capacity of Exchange Catiónico, at the 0-25, 25-50, 50-75 and 75-100. The results showed that highly significant correlations of K+ and K-NInt exist. with KNO3, of AR0 vs ±K0, MO vs pK-0.5 (Ca+Mg), K+ vs saturation for potassium and of the pH(H2O) vs K+, KNO3, saturation for potassium and T in the arable layer. With a behavior differed in three towns and slopes for the horizons of the profile, the isotherms with marked slope were observed to 0-25 and 25-50 cm, the stocking in the 100-125 cm and the lowest in the 50-75, 75-100 and more than 125 cm.
