Abstract

Fernando González Bermúdez, regular in functions of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, it highlighted today in this city the advances of the scientific community of the county of Guantánamo, to more than 900 kilometers to the east of Havana. At the end of a visit of four days to this territory, the leader eulogized the cohesive work of the investigators and educational among whose achievements figure the execution of the package of technological projects that was worth Cuba the Prize Saving the Dry Lands 1999. González Bermúdez the arid fringe coastal south traveled, where they are carried out several of the initiatives that made accrediting for the first time to a country of Latin America of the mentioned stimulus, granted by the Organization of United Nations for the Education, the Science and the Culture.
