Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the behavior of different concentrations of sassafras ketone extract on nematodes of the genus Meloidogyne, an experiment was set up in the Nematology laboratory of the Mountain Development Center in October 2022, where a total of 6 concentrations were evaluated with a witness. The results showed that the 1g sassafras ketone extract. L-1 produced 48% mortality of nematodes of the genus Meloidogyne, a trend that increases with increasing concentration at 48 hours, with significant differences with other concentrations used, highlighting that in the lower concentrations there was no control over the nematodes. and he himself increased the concentrations. which may be associated with the amount in which certain secondary metabolites are present in the extract and that from a certain concentration they are capable of causing the effect.
