Response of coffee seedlings (Coffea arábiga L.) to the use of Vigortem®

Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the response of Coffea arabica L seedlings to the application of Vigortem® in the edaphoclimatic and technological conditions of the technical nursery “La Biofabrica”, in the municipality of El Salvador, a trial was developed with the Vigortem® product. Four treatments were used that were replicated five times in a randomized block design. Height (cm), number of leaves (U), stem diameter (mm), fresh and dry leaf mass were evaluated and the slenderness index was determined. The study determined that the application of Vigortem® is more effective in obtaining high quality postures of Coffea arabica.
