Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the response of Cedrela odorata L seedlings to the application of Glomus cubense and CTA-Humus® under nursery conditions, a test was developed with C. odorata seeds, pelleted one hour before sowing and sprinkled with the soil conditioner CTA-Humus®. Height (cm), number of leaves (U), stem diameter (mm), fresh and dry leaf mass (g) were evaluated and the slenderness index was determined. For the statistical analysis, the STATGRAPHICS Version 5.1 package was used, separating the mean through the Duncan test. The study determined that the combined application of Glomus cubense and CTA-Humus® is more effective in obtaining high quality postures of Cedrela odorata represented in the best values for the physiological variables evaluated.
