Abstract

In order to evaluate the response of Cedrela odorata L seedlings to the application of Glomus cubense and CTA-Humus® in nursery conditions, a test was developed with C. odorata seeds, pelleted one hour before sowing and sprinkled with the CTA-Humus® soil conditioner. Height (cm), number of leaves (U), stem diameter (mm), fresh and dry foliar mass (g) were evaluated and the slenderness index was determined. For the statistical analysis, the STATGRAPHICS Version 5.1 package was used, separating the mean through Duncan's test. The study determined that the combined application of Glomus cubense and CTA-Humus® is more effective in obtaining high-quality Cedrela odorata seedlings represented in the best values for the physiological variables evaluated with a 1,768 slenderness index.
