Study of Sound Pollution in the Municipality of San Antonio del Sur.

Abstract

The world is immersed in a global crisis of civilizations, models of scientific-technological development, which causes the growing deterioration of the Environment. This leads to noise pollution, an environmental problem that is currently booming, which together with incorrect lifestyles and habits make it one of the problems that deteriorate the living conditions of the population. Starting from these premises, this article reflects the need to evaluate the effect caused by Sound Pollution in the Municipality of San Antonio del Sur, based on an observational, exploratory, descriptive and transversal methodology, to conclude that within the main causes of Noises, according to the subjective perception, those that come from public transport, construction sites, shopping centers and entertainment venues and at the conclusion of the study to propose a set of actions to eradicate this problem.
