Socio-productive characterization of the malanga productive areas of Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa mountain range.

Abstract

With the objective of carrying out the socio-productive characterization of the malanga productive areas of the Nipe-Sagua - Baracoa mountain range, the work was carried out between January 2017 and December 2018, in the CCS "Julio Acosta", from Saltadero and "José Martí", from San Fernando in El Salvador municipality; the CCS "Lino Álvarez from Las Mercedes", in Las Municiones and "Pastor Martínez", from La Cuabita, Yateras, as well as the CCS "Antonio Maceo", from La Máquina, Maisí. The Microsoft Office Access 2007 System was used to compile a database with all the information. As a result of the research, 35 producers of the five production forms were surveyed and in the database the general production data were collected in three years (2016, 2017 and 2018).
