Abstract

The study was carried out in the productive units in Baracoa and Yateras municipalities, during the years 2015 and 2016, with the objective of developing agroecological practices on the farmers based on the environmental sustainability. The implementation of soil conservation measures has made possible to declare as agricultural benefited area 20.1ha by reducing the loss of soils in 1.9 and 1 t.ha-1 año-1 with the addition of the nutrient content of soils dedicated to coffee cultivation in 23 producers. The production of organic fertilizers is intensified by the transformation of the waste generated in the different farms, producing about 18.2t of vegetable compost, with a reduction of 15 days in the production process. The reproduction of yam and banana seeds was achieved; also the incidence of plagues was reduced taking as a point of departure the establishment of traps as a part of the implementation of integrated management.
