Abstract

Was determined the resistance of a Chromic Vertisol to the penetration in four types of the land use. They were established 3 sample´s points in areas dedicated to silvopastoral systems, graze natural, sugar cane and several cultivations. In sugar cane and several cultivations were determined the resistance to the penetration in the furrow and in the ridge to establish the average as value of the point. The works were carried out to four depthes: 0.10,10.20,20.30 and 30.40 cm. Carried out an analysis of bifactorial variance and the Fisher proof with the statistical software ESTATISTICA 7. The established values increased with the depth of samples. The soil resistance to the penetration decreased in the following order: graze natural, silvopastoral systems, several cultivations and sugar cane. The uses dedicated to the cattle showed a major resistance to the penetration that those who had the area with established cultivations.
