Abstract

With the objective of studying the content and the composition of salts of the ChromicsVertisolslocated in the Plain of Alto Cedro they analyzed the data of four profiles of soils classified like ChromicsVertisols. The electrical conductivity was valued and the hypothetic composition of salts after was determined for the corresponding anions to each profile. In these soils the processes of washing with accumulation of salts prevail at the bottom of the profiles, where the elevated content of sodium proves to be characteristic. The tipe's salts are plenty of sulphatic-chlorhydrics, chlorhydric-sulphatics and, to a lesser extent, chlorhydrics and sulphatics.
