Abstract

Work accomplished from January 2013 to may 2013, in the miscarry located in Santa Maria District, which belongs to the budgeted unit of municipal community services in Guantanamo Province, with the objective of verify the effect of the organic fertilizer derived from the urban solid residues (USR) in the Peruvian Thevetia (Cabalonga) cultivation under nursery´s. A fully randomized design was used applying 4 treatments starting from the organic fertilizer dosage as fallows: proportion 1:1 soil/USR, 2:1 soil/USR, 3:1 soil/USR and 3:1 soil/bovine manure as control. Among the evaluated variables there are the height of the plant, germination length, stem diameter and the number of leaves. The best results, starting from the evaluated parameters, were those obtained from the mixture of soil and the fertilizer gotten from the urban solid residues in portion 2:1.
