Training plan to strengthen Territorial Planning from Environmental Management in the Municipality of San Antonio del Sur

Abstract

The National Environmental Strategy for the period 2013-2015 defines a group of goals and actions in relation to environmental planning as an instrument of environmental policy and management to implement the necessary actions aimed at achieving the greatest effectiveness of what is established in the Environmental Law. In this direction, environmental management and territorial planning have a close relationship and a decisive role in territorial development, aspects of first order in this research, aimed at contributing to the strengthening of Territorial Planning from environmental management in tables and decision-makers of the San Antonio del Sur Municipality. The study was carried out through participant observation, survey, interview, document analysis, and participatory dynamics as the main methods. The results presented allow the contribution to territorial planning from environmental management.
