Abstract

The need to train English students with solid pedagogical professional interests based on a differentiated attention to specific environmental problems, the research aims to propose theoretical conceptions of pedagogical professional interests in students of the Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language Education (English) based on sustainable local development. Various sources of information were reviewed and scientific methods such as analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and historical-logical were used to systematize information from documentary analysis. In order to accomplish the objective, it is proposed to do so on the basis of the development of motivational, affective, cognitive, attitudinal aspects, personological resources, to take advantage of the heterogeneity of students' origins, the integration of university substantive processes in the Integrated English Practice Discipline and the fulfillment of the communicative approach; reaching to the conclusion of continuing to strengthen these interests towards the pedagogical profession and the socio-environmental sustainability.
