Abstract

The Research was carried out in the public spaces of the Popular Council of El Salvador with the objective of developing a proposal for actions to improve its environmental conditions, the vegetation and the furniture conditions existing there were evaluated. Field work was carried out, determining in each facility (9 public spaces) the vegetation inventory, taking the dasometric data and the horizontal structure, a total of 8 species grouped into 8 families and 8 genera were identified with a total of 68 individuals, the most abundant species were Adonidia Merrilli Beccs, Tabebuia angustata Britt. and Ficus retusa. The species that presented the highest importance index value were Adonidia Merrilli Becc, Tabebuia angustata Britt, and Ficus retusa. The proposed measures were carried out in two stages in the medium and long term, taking a total of 10 actions.
