Abstract

The study was carried out in the Roilán farm, belonging to Agroforestry Company El Salvador; located in the Limonar de Monte Ruz Popular Council, El Salvador municipality, Guantánamo province. The objective was to characterize the agroecosystem, determining its potentialities, problems and possible solutions, productivity, stability and resilience. Interviews, documentary review and group work were carried out. As part of the agroecosystem characterization, its natural, human and production resources were described. The main problem identified in the sustainability of the agroecosystem is the decrease in production levels. Therefore, it is proposed to increase the training of producers in the use of bioinputs that will allow an increase in production in harmony with the environment.
