Abstract

With the objective of evaluating the productive response of the Velazco Largo bean variety with the use of CTA-humus®. A study was carried out. 4 treatments were applied that were replicated 5 times on a sialitic brown soil. The following variables were evaluated: plant height, number of pods, pod weight, fresh and dry mass, weight of 100 grains and yield. From the data obtained, a double analysis of variance was carried out, the means were separated through the Duncan test and the statistical package STATGRAPHICS PLUS version 5.0 was used. All results were economically evaluated. It was obtained that the best response of the Velazco long bean variety in growth and yield occurs under the effect of treatment 1 and 3, which correspond to the doses of 100% NPK (control), and the application of 5 L.ha. 1 of CTA humus® respectively.
