Abstract

The research was carried out in the Community of Rio Seco, Maisí, to characterize the semi-deciduous forest microphyllo. For this, 20 plots of 1000 m2 were raised, the species in the different strata of the forest were identified in the floristic inventory, the alpha and beta diversity and the diversity indices and the ecological importance index were determined. In plot 15 the majority of species had been identified, in total 14 families, 17 genera and 18 woody species were found. The species L. latisiliquum, P. filifolia and B. simaruba are the most important species due to their dominance, abundance and frequency.
