Abstract

To determine the best response of the pepper crop (Capsicum annuum L.), before the application of different doses of Efficient Microorganism, an experiment with a randomized block experimental design was carried out on the farm of the producer Mercedes Wilson Reyna, associate of the "Feliberto Betancourt" Credit and Services Cooperative, belonging to the Grain Base Business Unit, of the Manuel Tames Municipality, Guantánamo Province, with the variety (California Wonder L).In the experiment, doses of 100, 150, 200 and 250 ml/m2 were used, for Efficient Microorganism treatments. The following variables were evaluated: plant height (cm), number of leaves (U), yield (t/ha-1) and fruit weight (g), at four moments 7, 14, 45 and 60 days. The results showed that where a dose of 250 ml of Efficient Microorganism was applied, superior results to the control were obtained. The most effective Treatment was 4, obtaining profits of $15,055.33.
