Abstract

Results of the Project for the socio-humanistic development of health professionals, in execution since 2019 by the University of Medical Sciences of Guantánamo, are presented.  Using empirical, theoretical and statistical-mathematical methods, primary information was obtained on the state of the agroecosystem approach for food sustainability and human nutritional health, in a group sample of Comprehensive General Medicine professionals.  Current references and theoretical foundations on this subject were systematized, identifying the scientific problem on how to contribute to achieving the impact of Comprehensive General Medicine on food sustainability and human nutritional health?  As a solution, the design of a policy of actions for the development of this approach was suggested as an important contribution to food sustainability and human nutritional health.
