Early diagnosis of Colorectal Cancer by the clinic laboratory studies and the influence of environmental factors.

An observational-descriptive study was carried out aimed to demonstrate the hidden blood in feces qualitative study usefulness in the colorectal cancer early diagnosis by the clinic laboratory. At the same time, this work was carried out to demonstrate the environmental factors’ influence behavior as well as toxic habits present in patients coming from Proctology Service External Consultation of the General Teaching Hospital of Guantanamo, from June to December 2019. The universe was represented by 350 patients, 78 of them with a positive study of hidden blood in feces. 15 patients had a Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis (CCR) and 272 have a negative result in spite of the hidden blood presence in feces. They were among 40-60 years old. Some variables such as age, gender, hidden blood in feces (PSOH, smoking habits, alcoholism, obesity, wrong feeding habits, were studied. Results appear in charts.
