Abstract

The article has to do with the access to lands in usufruct evolution for agricultural use in Cuba. The objective was to characterize the different stages from the Spanish colony till present times. The phases were determined through consultation of bibliographies, legislations and the dialogue with specialists of Land Control Office, the provincial one and the office belonging to Baguanos Municipality. This study contributes, first, to disclose elements regarding the delivery of lands in usufruct evolution, besides, analyzing the Baguanos municipality situation it was possible to evidence some potentialities and restrictions that prevail up today. That makes the thematic current for the action with lands usufructuary in order to contribute to the sustainable production of those productive systems.
