Abstract

The Territorial Environmental Planning, reflects the sustainable development model, define the zoning and regulation of land use through a GIS, with provisions to strengthen management capacity. Its objective is to propose a model of sustainable environmental management in farms of fragile mountain agroecosystems which makes possible to provide proposals for use according to each environmental system, which contribute to the development’s sustainability in agricultural practices. The Geoecology of Landscape method was used, which defines the rational use of natural resources, their limitations and potentials, incompatibilities and environmental problems to achieve sustainability. Work phases are modeled: characterization, diagnosis and purpose of land use. The research allows the incorporation of the environmental dimension into the territorial planning process, which provides proposals for environmentally recommended use, according to its potential according to its available resources and its resilience to Climate Change.
