Abstract

The present work was carried out in the area of the organoponic Coliflor, from October 2018 to november 2019. The objective was to evaluate the effect of reduction of irrigation standard in indicators of growth and yield in established plantain plantations. Three treatments were evaluated with three replications. The following variables were evaluated: Number of leaves, plant height, perimeter of pseudostem, number of children, number of hands per cluster, number of fingers per hand, number of fingers per cluster, average number of fingers per cluster, Average bunch weight and yield. For the statistical analysis, the STATGRAPHICS Version 5.1 statistical package was used. As a result, the highest yields were obtained with T1 treatments; however the T2 treatment in combination with precipitation and relative humidity proved to be the most effective with a positive effect on the growth and yield variables in plantain crop with regarding the treatment in dry land.
