Abstract

An intervention study, of curricular proposal, was carried out to design a training program on women and gender applying the participatory action and gender mainstreaming methods. The themes of the construction process, socialization, referential framework and gender identity, construction of male stereotypes, roles, access and resources control and gender violence were developed. The novelty of this research consists in the approach of the woman-environment binomial is approached from a modern, renewed and more humanistic conception, from the gender theory. Among the main results of this research it is possible to observe independence of environmentalist women, demonstrating their active participation in the community and provincial, national and international events.
