ORIGINAL SCIENTISTS

It includes original research results of development, research and application. All proposals for publication should include title, abstract and key words in Spanish and English. It also includes authors, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and bibliographical references. The recommendations are optional.

  • 1. Title: Concise and informatic title, avoid using more than 15 words.
  • 2. Authors: Enter the full name of each author. Up to three authors will be accepted for each paper. Point to the author for correspondence with an asterisk (*).
  • 3. Affiliation: Affirms the list of institutional affiliations in a separate paragraph below the list of authors, specifying the scientific degree, academic titles and scientific and teaching categories. Indicate the full name of the institution, postal address including telephone and email. Use super numerical indices at the end of full names to distinguish authors with different institutional affiliations.
  • 4. Abstract: Written in third person, in Spanish and English, should include research objective, mention the methods used, main results and conclusions, never exceed 250 words.
  • 5. Keywords: At least 4 and no more than 7, in Spanish and English, organized thematically from the general to the particular. Review Directory for Keywords: http://thes.cindoc.CSIC.es/indexSPINesp.php
  • 6. Tables and figures: Should not exceed three, be inserted in the body of the text and optimized for display, preferably in gif and jpg formats. The title of the tables will appear at the top, with sequential numbering according to the order in which they appear in the text and in Verdana letter, 10 points. If using explanatory notes at the bottom of the table, Verdana should be used at 9 points. The title of the figures will be placed at the bottom using Verdana at 10 points, with sequential numbering according to the order in which they appear in the work.
  • 7. Bibliographical references: They will appear at the end of the text ordered alphabetically, following also the indications of the Manual of Bibliographic Style of the American Psychological Association (APA), in version 6.

SHORT COMMUNICATIONS

Short works on results of ongoing research or other contributions that deserve a rapid disclosure.
Any proposal for short communication should include title, summary and key words in Spanish and English, it also includes a list of authors, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and bibliographical references. The recommendations are optional.

REVISIONS

Works of synthesis and discussion of the most current scientific information regarding a relevant topic in the scope of the journal. The maximum length of the manuscripts will be 20 pages, considering all their content. For this modality, it is not required to follow the structure indicated above. In any case, it must contain the sections of title, authors, summary, keywords, introduction, the development of the work properly divided into chapters, acknowledgments and references.
