Abstract

The research was carried out in different agro-productive scenaries distributed in Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa mountainous group, in four communities distributed in three municipalities where there exists a great richness of agricultural species and varieties. Different tools were used to obtain the results, such as the application of interviews and visual observation among other tools applied to determine the main clones and varieties existing in each of the farms where the survey was carried out. On the other hand, with the objective of knowing the richness of the main crops and varieties produced there, a total of 27 farmers which main crop is coffee were diagnosed and it was possible to confirm the presence of two species of grains, four of vegetables, seven of viands, four of fruit trees, varieties of Arabic coffee (bourbon, red, yellow and hypocotyledonar grafts) and robust.
