Response of the cultivation of pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata Duch.) to the application of Vigortem®.

Abstract

In order to evaluate the productive response of the cultivation of pumpkin to the use of Vigortem® on a carbonated brown soil, there have been applied the treatments 4, 5 y 6 L.ha?¹ of Vigortem®, respectively, as well as a control treatment without application. The stem length (cm), the number of leaves (U), the fruit weight and length (kg) and (cm), the fruit number (U) and yield (t.ha?¹) were evaluated and it was applied a randomized block design experiment; taking into account the data obtained it was made a variance analysis and the statistical package STATGRAPHICS PLUS vertion 5.0 was also used. It has been determined that the most suitable dose of
