Abstract

An investigative work carried out was aimed at producing a mineral and protein supplement using as raw material the by-products of eggs’ incubation and assess its impact in the production and quality of eggs, 3 groups of 60 hens were gathered, where T1 substituted 3g of Calcium by 3g of supplement, T2 was a control group which did not use supplement, and T3 substituted 3g of Calcium by 6g of supplement mixed with fodder. The T3 group’s results showed an increase in the average daily production of 35.37 a; T1 showed a 33.38 b and T2 a 32.48 b eggs. The alimentary conversion proved to be better in the T3 group with 2.71% and the feasibility in group T1 proved to be better with a 98.33 %, followed by the T2 group with a 96.66 %, and the T3 group with a 94.88 %. The weight of the egg and the weight of the shell, the best results obtained were those of group T3. The supplement use in the laying hens’ rations can produce significant increments in production, weight of the egg and weight of the shell, with 94.88% viability and an improved alimentary conversion.
