Abstract

A space-temporal study of occurrence of Thunderstorms in the province, comes from reports over a period of 17 years, which allowed us to determine the months of highest occurrence, start time and duration of these care of the meteorological phenomena and physical-geographical conditions prevailing, all results of the Integrated Meteorological Monitoring System, which provides prediction and early warning to mitigate this risk. The results obtained are of great value for Civil Defense and decision-making bodies of the party and the government, from the study of risk and vulnerability for the implementation of preventive measures aimed at reducing the risk and damage from Wildfire.
