Abstract

The investigation was developed in the Cattle Farm "The Charity of the Indians", in the municipality Manuel Tames, county Guantánamo from March 2011 to February 2013. The initial diagnosis threw insufficient base alimentary, decadent cattle productions, and low reproductive indexes, for what we intended to reorder the grasses and existent forages, what consisted on introducing the Grass Shatters, for be this very superior one in the yields of dry matter, and in nutritious properties to the natural grass Pitilla. The sowing of oleifera Moringa was added in an area of 50.0ha of Grass Shatters, for the sowing method for fringes, those that are leveled by the silvopastoreo system. The contribution of the grasses and forages after the restructuring will be of 2350.0 t/MS/año, of which 1130.10t were in readiness for the animal consumption and they satisfy the fundamental nutritious demands of the alimentary balance of the bovine livestock.
