Abstract

With 1200 x White Cornish chickens Plymoth Rock and randomized design with four treatments and six repetitions, 4 diets consisting of replacing 0, 10, 20 and 30% of conventional feed for alternative feed mixture comprising seed meal of breadfruit and coconut The final live weight, weight gain, feed intake and feed conversion did not differ between treatments containing 0 and 10% think breadfruit-coco, diets with 20 and 30% inclusion of feed, reduced ( P <0.05) end of birds live weight, weight gain and feed conversion worsened. Production and yield edible portions was higher (P <0.05) in the control relative to other treatments. Being stated proper behavior of birds, similar to that obtained with conventional foods replacing 10% of a conventional diet for alternative feed breadfruit-coco.
