Abstract

It was accomplished a qualitative study on the utility of fragile ecosystems of the guantanamero territory and the potentialities that MNT have to contribute to the local sustainable development starting from the impact demonstrated in sore areas of the same one, doing intensive and efficient use of available natural resources in the communal ecosystems, aftermath that they served to conform Master's thesis in Native and Traditional Medicine. The reflections exposed here have the objective to contribute to raise the consciousness of executives and general population about the feasibility of this alternative for the communities' local sustainable development.
