Abstract

Lifecycle behavior of Meloidogyne mayaguensis in house conditions vegetation to host species Cucurbita moschata Poiret. Solanum melongena, Lin. and Licopersum esculentum Mill Seeds of hosts in polyethylene bags with a sterile mixture of soil and sand,aftergerminationwereinoculatedwiththenematode.Dailysamplesweretakentoobservetheappearanceofthefirstlarvaeintherootsystem,fromthatmoment,everyfifthdayuntilthecompletionofthelifecycleofthenematode.Theresultwasthatthespecieslifecycleinthewintertimebetween30and35days,whileinthesummerisshortenedfrom23-28daysforthebesthostthatwasSolanummelongena,Lin.NotsowithCucurbitamoschataPoiret,inthislifecyclelastedupto48days.
