Abstract

Forest fires have become an environmental problem of high severity and relevance as they have increased in frequency, magnitude and intensity.  Forest fires generate degradation in forests. Fire as a practice in agriculture is on rise in El Salvador municipality, that’s why, rehabilitation actions are proposed in areas affected by forest fires. For this purpose, statistics of fires occurred within the seven last years, plant formations prevailing, contraventions because of the use of fire, other authors experiences to create a concept map reflecting the danger index of forest fires in dangerous, many dangerous and less dangerous, as well as a proposal to rehabilitate the affected areas, as a contribution to Civil Defense, Ranger Corp, and Municipal Government, a tool for prevention works, facing and recovering in a fire event were taken into consideration
