The influence of marabou pyroligneous acid on the control of white fly (Bemisia tabaci)

Abstract

The research was conducted at the horticultural farm "Brisas" located in Holguín province, from December to January 2024. It was used Solanum licopersicum (tomato) where the influence of pyroligneous acid on the incidence of the white fly. The applications were made on a leaf with doses of 2 and 2.5 l ha-1 at 10 days after transplantation, at the time of flowering 10% of this and the fruit formation. A planting of 1.40m x 0.20 m and randomized block design with 3 treatments and 3 replications was used. Among the results achieved, it stands out that the plants treated with both doses surpassed the control in protection against white fly. Obtaining greater effect with the dose of 2.5 l ha-1.
