Abstract

The present work is the design of a multimedia that offers the possibility of consulting, with a harmonious combination between hyperlinks, texts and images, extensive information on the cultivation of taro; It contains a set of scientific information obtained as a result of research on this crop, so coveted for its nutritional and digestive characteristics. Mediator 8 Software was used for its design, digital image processing techniques were used to prepare the illustrations. Multimedia constitutes a tool that facilitates the dissemination and transfer of knowledge about taro cultivation in the Nipe - Sagua - Baracoa mountain range, to students, technicians and producers of the Cuban agricultural sector.
