Capacity building: an opportunity to rural women empowerment in El Salvador Municipality

Abstract

It is recognized the immediate need of increasing the women’s power to identify their interests and transform the communitarian relationships; built on themselves the power.  This works focuses on the need of develop more responsible women at the time of managing their business winning more authority at the time of developing entrepreneurs to have access to the market as farmers.  From these principles is determined the proposal of this work: to make an approach to the rural women empowerment process in local development projects, taking into consideration the nowadays challenges which affect agriculture. Some methods were applied such as documentary review, interview, participant observation.
