Abstract

The work was carried out in the Mountain Development Center, municipality El Salvador, province Guantánamo in the period of January-May 2022, with the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of different doses of microorganisms in the germination of seeds and growth of positions of (Theobroma cacao). The data were processed using analysis of variance and the means were compared using the Tukey test for a 5% probability of error. The germination percentage was determined and morphological parameters were evaluated: plant height, diameter of the stem, number of leaves, the results showed a significant difference between the treatments, highlighting the dose of 10 and 15% the highest values for the variables height (28.2 cm) and number of leaves (11.0) stem diameter (0.73) and root number (48.1).
